Individual Psychotherapy

In-Person, Virtual, or by Phone
There's a reason everyone's talking about therapy these days. It works.

It's hard to complete a puzzle when we keep all the pieces inside the box. Therapy is that spacious table where you get to set down some of the pieces, look for patterns, and start making connections toward a clearer sense of the bigger picture.

Still, it's more than just solving a puzzle. Reclaiming those connections is satisfying. It's empowering. And it frees up space in our lives for us to get back to what matters to us most.

My Approach

I use an integrated method based on many therapy modalities. Clients do not need to be well versed in these to see benefits from sessions, though some do find it helpful for their own process to explore them.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) involves inviting conflicting aspects of a person's experience into dialogue with one another, in pursuit of a more grounded, integrated experience of self.

Background & Training

I hold an M.A. in Counselling and Spirituality from Saint Paul University, and a B.A. Hons. in Psychology and Theatre from the University of Ottawa.

Before private practice, I developed my clinical training and experience as an intern at the Saint Paul University Counselling Centre.

I am also a certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Informed Professional,  supporting many clients in navigating the gifts and challenges of ASD.
